What's waiting for you at the Health Tech Summit?

On May 24, our award winning reporters will host discussions about patient data, machine learning, and big tech's efforts to change our health systems with some of the biggest names in the industry:

Google’s next steps in health care
Karen DeSalvo, a veteran of the Obama administration, leads a team at Google that guides the company in creating inclusive health products and services. Hear what’s next as one of the biggest companies in technology tries to find ways to improve our broken health care system.

Can Cue go beyond Covid?
If you know anyone at Alphabet, you might have been jealous of the Covid tests they were using while the rest of us stocked up on rapid antigen tests. They were made by Cue, a startup co-founded by CEO Ayub Khattak. Now the company aims to take its rapid testing technology beyond the pandemic.

Making technology accessible
Joshua Miele, who is blind, has made a career of making technology work for people with disabilities. He currently brings his talents to Amazon’s tablets, TVs, and Alexa-enabled devices. Miele will tell his story, from being part of a community of blind students in a basement at UC Berkeley to winning a MacArthur “Genius Grant."
