Dear Readers,
Our annual search for the brightest young minds across academia, industry, and the clinic is now underway.
We are scouring North America for our seventh class of STAT Wunderkinds: the postdocs, residents, and industry researchers who are already doing groundbreaking work — and who are poised to soar to new heights in the years to come. This year's Wunderkinds will be unveiled in October, and will be profiled by STAT and invited to our STAT Summit that month.
We'd appreciate your help. If you have a suggestion for a Wunderkind (or two, or three), please fill out our short nomination form by July 14. We are looking for nominees working across the full spectrum of science and medicine — from cancer and chronic disease to artificial intelligence and drug pricing policy.

Questions? Please see our FAQ. For other information, contact wunderkinds@statnews.com.
And join us April 27 at our event "Breakout Stars in Science." You'll hear from past winners about how their career journeys have unfolded, and learn more about their inspiring and innovative ideas.
Thank you and stay safe.
