The U.S. healthcare industry is ever evolving, and there is one thing everyone agrees on: it's complex and often challenging for patients, especially those most vulnerable. One of the complexities that impacts the daily lives of many Americans is the high costs of necessary life-saving treatments.

An example of this is for treatments of respiratory illnesses, such as COPD and asthma, which depend on patients being able to access the medications they need. In recent years, access to the inhalers that treat these conditions has become increasingly difficult due to high prices forcing underinsured and uninsured populations to choose between prioritizing basic everyday expenses like paying rent and treating their respiratory illness.
